Meet our Founder, Casprus Simmons!

Born in Castries, St. Lucia, Casprus was exposed to the importance of an organic lifestyle as a child living in the Caribbean Islands, and kept in touch with that gift as she traveled to live in America. Once she had her first daughter, she was further exposed to the lack of nutrients in skincare products for children, and proceeded to create a product that would not only nourish her daughters skin, but something that was also 100% organic. Her mother would travel back and forth to their hometown of St. Lucia, each time bringing back 100% organic coconut oil. Although the coconut oil had its benefits, it didn’t moisturize her child or her skin the way that she desired. It took her one time to experience the moisturizing and deeply penetrating effects that Shea Butter had on her skin, to make the decision to make products out of it. Thanks to her background in Nursing and her love for chemistry and biology, she began making different Shea butter recipes by combining the organic Shea butter and other natural ingredients, and didn’t stop until she got the perfect formula. What we now know as “Casprus Love Butter,” was a product in the making and perfecting for over 20 years. Casprus lives by the motto “everything is in divine order.” Applying it to her plethora of lifestyles as a mother, business owner, and human being; she finds it important to remind herself and her community that everything is in divine order.  Enjoy the glow!
